Update: During and After COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the world to face a new normal. Delivery of health care has been significantly impacted as a result of SARS-CoV-2 emergence.

This seminar will provide an update on COVID-19 along with discussion of other occupational respiratory and blood-borne infection risks for dental health-care professionals.

Reinforcement of standard precautions and health care worker vaccines will be emphasized as major components of effective infection prevention, as well as transmission precautions necessitated by aerosolized microbial challenges.
